Privacy Policy

How personal data is handled on this website and which rights you have.

On this page bulletico explains which information reaches us when you open bulletico.net or write to us, what we do with it, how long it stays with us and whom you can ask about it.

Controller and scope of this policy

Responsibility for the information collected on bulletico.net lies with bulletico, 14 Culver Mews, Colchester CO1 1WG, United Kingdom. Whoever has a question about this notice, or about data we may hold, can write to hello@bulletico.net or call 01206 574318.

We address adult readers only and do not intend to process information about children. Should you learn that a minor has written to us, please let us know at hello@bulletico.net and the message will be removed from our records.

Storage periods

We keep personal data only for as long as the purpose it was collected for requires, or longer where record-keeping duties apply. After that it is deleted or changed so that it no longer points to a person.

Technical log entries disappear automatically after a short time. Correspondence is kept while it may still be needed, and records that tax or commercial rules require us to keep are held for the period those rules set.

Cookies

This website uses only technically necessary storage. We do not set advertising cookies, and no analytics service records how you move through our pages or links your visit to other websites.

Your browser lets you review what is kept for this website, erase it and prevent it from being stored again. If you block entries that the site needs in order to function, some pages may not display correctly.

Purpose and legal basis

We use data to keep this website online and safe, to reply to the messages we receive, to prepare and carry out agreements with clients and to keep the records our business requires.

Each use of data has a ground of its own: your consent, a contract or the talks that lead to it, an obligation we have to meet, or our legitimate interest in running this site securely. You are free not to give us details, but without them an answer may not be possible.

Your rights and how to use them

You have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict its processing, to object to processing based on legitimate interests and to receive your data in a portable format. Consent can be withdrawn at any time.

You can use your rights by writing to hello@bulletico.net. Before we answer, we may ask for a detail that confirms your identity, so that data is not disclosed to the wrong person; the answer follows within the period the law provides and costs you nothing.

If you believe that we handle your data unlawfully, you may complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), in addition to any other remedy.

Data we collect

Visiting the website creates server log entries: IP address, time of access, requested file, transferred data volume, browser and operating system. We use these entries only to operate the site safely, to keep it available and to investigate technical errors.

When you contact us in writing or by telephone, we process the contact details you provide and the information contained in your enquiry. Where a form is used, only the fields marked as required are needed; any further detail you add is voluntary.

Service providers and transfers abroad

Personal data is never traded. Access is limited to the technical service providers that run our hosting and mail systems, who process data on our behalf under a written contract, and to public bodies where disclosure is required.

If a provider operates servers or support staff abroad, data may leave the country in which we are established. We work only with providers who commit to the level of protection that the applicable law requires for such transfers.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated when the website, our services or the rules that apply to us change. The version on this page, with the date shown at the top, is the one that applies when you visit.

The text on this page replaces earlier versions, and no separate announcement is sent when it changes. If an amendment affects processing that is based on your consent, we obtain new consent before relying on it.
